WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?

Volite® is a type of . It contians hyaluronic acid which helps torestore the skin’s natural moisture and suppleness. Skin Boosters like Volite® deliver hydration and help to plump up slack skin. The technique can be used on the face, backs of the hands, neck and décolleté.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Injected under the skin, Volite® deposits micro amounts of Hyaluronic Acid, which spread throughout the dermis and infuse the tissues with moisture. Injected with either a needle or cannula, Skin Boosters stimulate a controlled trauma to the skin, stimulating increased production of collagen and elastin.

KEY DIFFERENCES Volite® or Profihlo® – 

Composition and Focus: While both treatments are based on hyaluronic acid, Profhilo is known for its unique concentration and stimulation of collagen and elastin production, whereas Volite is focused more on hydration and smoothness. Profihlo is often used in younger skin.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Skin Boosters are not painful, whether administered with a needle or cannula; however, a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

Skin feels tender and might appear flushed immediately afterwards, and tiny bruises might occur at the injection sites. However, this tends to settle quickly.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

The effects will continue to develop over time, though skin will appear immediately plump and feel noticeably hydrated. For an enhanced result, Skin Boosters can be combined with treatments such as HydraFacial, Dermalux LED lights or BTL Exilis.
