WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?
BTL Exilis® is a non-surgical treatment, designed to tighten the skin on the face and body. A combination of heat and radiofrequency is delivered via a hand-held applicator, helping to restore immediately firmer, healthier-looking skin.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
BTL Exilis® works by carefully heating and cooling the skin. Heat energy penetrates the tissue and is delivered to various depths, causing fat cells to shrink while promoting the production of collagen and elastin. To ensure your safety, surface skin temperature is monitored throughout the treatment.
WHO IS IT FOR?
BTL Exilis® is suitable for anyone aged 21 or above who would like to improve the appearance of their skin.
IS IT SAFE?
Yes – BTL Exilis® is a safe, non-invasive procedure that has been rigorously tested. Best results are further enabled by an innovative ‘Energy Flow Control’ system, which administers an optimal level of heat energy throughout the entire session. This level is monitored closely and, if necessary, can be adjusted, to minimise pain or discomfort.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Patients report little to no discomfort – in fact, it can feel pleasantly warm.
WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?
The procedure requires no recovery time. You can have the treatment in your lunch break and return to work, or resume exercise, immediately after.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Improvements can usually be seen following your first BTL Exilis® treatment; however, the effect is gradual, and in most cases, 3-4 sessions, one week apart, are recommended. For best results, we will prescribe an individual treatment plan, tailored to your specific needs.
